I realized I should probably have a probe on the neutral line, not the power for the light.

You’ve gotta remove that controller/canopy module to use an Inovelli fan switch though, right? So, no way to use the Favorites button and a Bond Bridge to associate a tap with a reverse command, right? Could there be a world where you simulate it? Use the fan switch’s up and down taps to change speed via HA scripts and favorite button to change direction with the canopy module still installed?
Prior to installing the Inovelli canopy module I was actually using a Bond Bridge to send commands to the Kichler module. All of the commands worked, but it was impossible to dim lights because it requires holding down a button on the remote, which the Bond bridge can’t simulate.
Long shot, but if you have 2 hot wires going from the switch up to the canopy you could bypass the module and wire the lights straight to the switch, but bypass the switch and wire the canopy module straight to line.
