Are the face covers the same on the blue and the red gen 2? I ordered a replacement switch but ordered white instead of grey and it’s already shipped.
No, gen 2 faceplates are not compatible with Gen 3 switches. There was some small changes to the config button and the air gap if I remember it correctly. Gen 3 switches of the same type should use the same faceplate regardless of switch color.

I kind of recall if you swapped the air gap it could interchange.
