Newby with Inovelli, experienced in hardware and automation…
After installing 2 different Blue Series On/Off switches, when creating a “Room Lights” automation. I have to set the “On” event to “Button Pressed - button 1 pushed” which is OK, and generated by the Up paddle, but the Down Paddle is being shown in the device log as generating a “button 1 held” event?? Sure enough, if I set the “Means to Turn Off Lights” to “Button Pressed - button 1 held” it turns the light off.
The lights i’m using a Philips hue connected by the Bridge Pro.
Random searches say this might be the paddle being not properly set. I have removed and reset the paddle, it appears to be tight. The switch is not install in any electrical box and does not have a face plate attached. It is sitting on my desk where I can practice wiring them before installing them in my home. (Nicely wrapped in electrical tape on all contacts)
Any clue on why this is happening and how I can get the “down” paddle to generate button 2 events?
