Fan speed display on Blue Series Switch in Home Assistant with Zigbee2MQTT?

I’m about to purchase the Blue Series Fan Switch to replace wave homeseer fan switch that is beginning to show signs of failure. The one thing I like about the homeseer is the visual led indicators that show the current fan speed. I use home assistant throughout my home with the Zigbee2MQTT integration. I assume that with some fancy automation the fan speed could also be displayed on the led indicator bar. Has anyone done this and is willing to share their automation or point me to a blueprint?

No automation needed. The switch does this by default (just like the dimmers show the dim level). At low, the bottom 1/3 is lit up, medium 2/3, and high the full bar. You can choose the brightness and color in the settings.

Thanks for the quick reply! My fan is a four speed fan…Can it be setup like that to display 4 levels instead of 3?

The fan switch only does 3 speeds regardless of what the fan is capable of. You’ll lose one of your middle speeds if you switch to Inovelli’s switch.
