Hello - I’ve moved on from my previous post. I was able to identify the 3 ghost switches in Apple HomeKit by tracking all the serial numbers of the 15+ dimmers I had in Home Assistant and using the process of elimination. After turning my power off and letting my UPS drain (I have 9 thread boarder routers and I had to install some more switches anyway), I got the 3 dimmers back into HomeKit and Home Assistant and now I am attempting to bind them together in a 4-way.
I am using the Matter Binding Helper to bind the switches. I have the first remote bound to the load endpoint 2 to endpoint 1. I was also able to do the reverse for the LED bars. When I went to do the same thing with the second remote, I started getting errors.
I was able to bind remote 2 to the load for on|off. When I tried to bind the dim level I got this error:
Any suggestions on how to get this to work. Do I have to wait for Matter Groups to be available? I went with all dimmers as I want all my switched to have the LED bar. Do I have to use automations instead? Gemini suggested that I reinterview my remote 2 to make sure the cluster maps was correct, but this didn’t get rid of the error.
Thanks for any advice.
