Ok Thanks. I will remove the device from my C8-Pro. Do the factory reset on the switch. Start the pairing process and as soon as I see the green on the led bar on the switch I will put the airgap wait for 10 seconds and then push it back in.
You have to be really fast when that green comes up. Got it to pair properly this time. Seeing the off and on events in the logs, power, button presses etc. If I run into any other questions I will post in another thread but now one switch running for testing config in my office and then on to the real test with the other switches in the house and the wife acceptance
