I’m a Hubitat user and have the VZM35-SN/VZM36 setup. I can set the lighting level just fine, but the fan level doesn’t work. It seems to be stuck on “high” despite setting level to “low” or even a set level, like 25. Clearly the switch is communicating with the fan module, but I don’t understand why it is ignoring fan commands.
By chance, did you set LowLevelForFanControlMode, MediumLevelForFanControlMode, HighLevelForFanControlMode settings on the switch (not sure what these settings are called in Hubitat, I’m a Home Assistant user)?
I’m not finding those settings in the device. There is a Minimum Level and a Maximum Level. I was playing around with settings more and think maybe the “Smart Fan Mode - Enabled” is what caused it to stop working correctly. I disabled that and now I seem to be able to control the fan again. Thanks for your reply.
That’s P52 and is the equivalent of the Smart Bulb Mode on the dimmer. It’s designed to have the fan output full power continuously. You may not have noticed it, but that will also prevent the switch from turning the fan on or off.
