Inovelli Blue + HA - Multi-tap abilities not an option?

Hello team,

I have been using Inovelli Blue multi-tap functions for the past 6 months successfully. I noticed that the functions stopped working. I began to troubleshoot the HA automation to recognize a double down action. The switch in HA is recognizing the action, but the HA automation is not allowing or recognizing the double down trigger. In the past I could physically press the double down action on the switch, then the HA automation would recognize this ability. Now, when I physically apply the double down action on the switch, the automation does not allow me to choose this option.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It appears that my HA & Z2M is not communicating correctly or out of sync(?).

To fix:

  1. The switch was removed from HA ( via HA’s Zigbee devices)
  2. The switch was also removed from Zigbee2MQTT list of paired devices.

This will take some time to repair. I do take backups and a restore to multiple points in time did not help.

Question: When one takes a ‘Full’ backup of the system in HA, does one also have to take a backup of the Zigbee configurations as well (in the Zigbee2MQTT → Settings → Tools → Request Z2M backup?
