I’m using the Red Series 2-1 (VZW31-SN) dimmer with integrated LED wafer-style downlights (Amico TP120-RT6-5CCT currently). I have a neutral present. I’ve tried switching between leading and trailing edge, and disabled power/energy reporting parameters, but the lights still flicker occasionally. The lights will be fine at both high and low dim levels for some time, but then just occasionally decide to start flickering (and it seems to trigger all of them on different lines to start at the same time, i.e. they’re usually either all stable or all flickering).
I’m looking for advice on one of three paths:
Any other parameter settings that reliably stop flicker with these or this style wafer lights?
Alternative wafer-style downlights that community members have installed with the Red 2-1 without needing a bypass? I’m willing to replace all of them.
Or confirmation if the Aeotec Bypass is the only reliable fix in this scenario. I’m ordering a few of these to test this as a solution but they’re 5x more expensive than replacing the whole fixture so am hesitant for doing this for the whole house if better options exist.
Does anyone have suggestions on an integrated LED wafer-style light fixture that works with the Red 2-1 switches without flicker? So far I’ve installed just one Aeotec Bypass on 1 of 4 lights in a room and when I first installed it the flickering began immediately and far more aggressively than it ever did before (and the other 3 were not flickering at that moment, which is not the usual pattern). But now I’m waiting for the flickering to come back to this room to see if the same light is either fixed now or still much worse like it was initially (for me, the lights will be fine 95% of the time but then start flickering for a while kind of non-stop).
Anyway I’d really just like to know if there’s a better light that I should look to use since these bypasses are more expensive than the light fixtures from what I can see.
