LED indicator for enablying Trailing Edge Mode

The documentation to put a Blue switch into Trailing Edge Mode says:

“hold down on the bottom part of the paddle (off) while simultaneously tapping the configuration button thirteen (13) times (do not let go of the paddle when finished tapping the config button). Wait for the LED Bar to flash solid indigo (and then let go of the paddle) indicating the switch has enabled Trailing Edge Mode.”

On both of my IB’s, the LED Bar flashes solid cyan. Is this something to worry about? (Note that Parameter 26 = 1 after I do “lower-tap+13x config presses”).

Nope. Cyan is the color I see on all of mine as well.

Thanks for the confirmation!

I don’t see trailing edge expose on z2m on my 2-1 blue or blue fan. But I see it on blue canopy module. Can I still activate it using manual paddle switch? Is it unusual to not have trailing edge exposed on z2m?

I’m using Hubitat Elevation. I don’t know if you can see the TE parameter in other hubs, and I have zero knowledge about z2m.

With HE, I think that the “trailing edge” parameter is only exposed if your IB is in the dimmer mode.

I see a State Variable that says “dimmingMethod: Trailing Edge”.

And if there is a manual paddle switch sequence, that should work.
