Not sure what to call the issue but I’ve referred it to “lazy touch” and lately I’ve paid way more attention to my press to the white series switches.
The issue is most presses of the switch to turn on, if not a firm middle of switch press, switch doesn’t respond. Ive noticed even a firmer press on or near the edge does not “switch on”. Very frustrating when you’re walking in a room or late at night and casually press the switch and nothing happens..
Anyone else experience this and is it just the white series? I have about 30 and all are the same issue.
Thank you for reaching out about this issue. Are you able to post a video in this thread, or message me directly with one/a link to one, so I can take a look at the issue you’re having?
I’ve had the same issue with my white series dimmers. Light or quick touches did not activate the switch. I changed the LED switch color to a different color when “on” so that I could easily confirm when the switch detected a press. I sort of trained my presses to be firmer and slightly slower and this seems to activate the switch more consistently.
Is this happening with all of your White Series switches are just a few? Do you have another version of our devices (Blue or Red series) that are having the same issue?
