The people having issues need to make sure they have the latest update. Since you pointed it out I had just updated so I’m trying a firmware update right now and it seems to be working.
I believe this is an issue specific to people trying to update firmware via ZwaveJS UI (formerly ZwaJS2MQTT) and not through the Home Assistant device.
Regardless, trying to upgrade the firmware using the HA UI also fails and flags the device as a dead node.
I’ve never tried it but I thought they got that working.
