Mmwave Blue top led flashing does not respond to notification command

I have one of the blue version of the mmWave switch and a mess of reds. The blue version is aways flashing the top led on the notification bar and does not responds to notification commands through Hubitat. I have tried double tap config to clear notifications but that does not do anything.

What is really interesting is the flashing matches the color of the bar. If I configure the bar to be a different color the flashing follows the new color. This is different than the normal notification behavior so am curious what it means. Led appears to change state about once a second.

@bureau.radii every once and a while there is a switch with a defective LED that makes it to a customer. This might be the case. Is this happening all of the time? If you factory reset it does it keep doing it?

If it is only occasionally, is there a notification command that I can send to my switch that will activate the behavior or any other switch settings that I can change to try to replicate it?

Yes

Haven’t tested a factory reset yet but will try tonight.

It (being the entire switch) does not respond to any notification commands, regardless of what led, animation or color I select for notification.

Let me know how the factory reset goes. So if you do this for the device you don’t get a notification:?

Edit: are there any errors in the logs?

Yes, doing this did not give me a notification

Following a factory reset the top LED stopped flashing and started responding to notifications. So I guess the mystery will remain a mystery for some time further.
