I wasn’t able to find this anywhere. Just wondering if anyone knows the standby power consumption of the mmWave presence sensor switch for the production model (both zigbee or zwave models if they’re different).
Mine (ZWave) is reporting about 1W to Home Assistant.
It might be a little higher or lower than that, I’m not sure what the precision is.
thx for the info. 1w seems rather high compared to other types of motion switches.
Mine reports 0 W.
I’ve seen anywhere between 1.3w and 1.5w used on a Red switch using a third party energy monitor. The switch had not been included into the ZWave network yet, and I am unsure if the switch uses more/less power before inclusion. Some of my other switches that have been included and installed are warm to the touch (not hot). P32 reports the temperature as 52 C and Home Assistant reports power usage as 1w when the switch is off.
Mine (Zigbee / blue) seems to use about 12W, which is insanely high.
12W doesn’t seem right with the load off.
I would be curious on the specs for this also, I have noticed since installing a number of the blue series mmWave switches, my span.io panel has been showing a much higher consumption in those rooms even when the lights are off.
I was hoping the official idle consumption would be listed in some technical documents or spec sheets, but was not able to find any posted on the product site.
