New Hunter fan - Blue series fan module

Got a new Hunter fan to replace 40 year old fan. Want to control light and fan separately.
Fan has its own module that I want to replace with Inovelli blue series module.
There are two bundles that go down to fan. One is obviously for lights and I can figure it out.
The other is presumably for the fan and has three wires: yellow, pink and red.
Is this a lost cause or is there some way to use the single fan wire from the blue module to control this fan?

Model name/number?

Did you look at the installation instructions to see if those colors are listed in the diagram?

Model 52781. The installation manual provides no description of the purpose of the wires, just tells you to plug the module connector into the corresponding connector on the fan.

That should be the Hunter Swanson ENERGY STAR with LED Light 44 inch in New Bronze/American Walnut.

Unfortunately, that fan has a DC motor, which isn’t compatible with the Blue fan switch or fan canopy module.

Can you point me at a manufacturer of nice fans that are compatible?
Is there a list somewhere?

I always recommend Hunter, just not their DC fans. I have a bunch of their Builder series, but if you go to https://hunterfan.com they have a ton of models.

They have both AC and DC motor fans. I’d start culling the list by selecting one without a remote. To double-check the motor type, scroll down their product page to the “Specs” section and then the “Motor” section.

I’m not sure how to find AC motors only, but I’m pretty sure with “Builder” in the title will have an AC motor. Search for “Builder” but be sure to double-check the motor type under specs.
