Odd Behavior with Aux Switch

I have a Red Series 2-1 dimmer switch (VZW31-SN), firmware 1.2.0 setup in multi-way with Aux, Dimmer mode, Trailing Edge dimming, Neutral wire power type wired to some overhead canless LEDs. Let me know if I’m missing any other relevant implementation details.

My problem is the aux switch behaves oddly. When dimming up from minimum, it can get to 20% then the lights turn off. When I turn them back on, the aux switch can’t increase the level above 20%. Maximum Level on the switch is set to 99, Minimum Level is set to 1. From the hub (homeassistant) or from the main switch the full range of dimming is working.

Any ideas how to fix the aux switch? I have a second setup that is nearly identical (same smart switch, aux switch wiring, config, same canless LED overheads) in the next room that works fine, so I am somewhat inclined to think I may have a faulty switch.
