Paired Blue 2-in-1’s in 3-way config: what “Switch Type” to select, “Single Pole” or “Multi-way with Aux Switch”?

In other words, if I’m using 2 smart Blue’s, and not a Blue+Aux pair, is “Single Pole” the correct option? Or is the 2nd smart Blue deemed to be an “Aux Switch” for purposes of multi-way configurations?

If you’re using multiple Smart Switches, they don’t share a hard wired connection on the traveler terminal, and therefore each switch is in “Single Pole”.
