curious if any progress has been made on getting this in to home assistant. Tried searching issue / pr in git for HA core, but didn’t see anything. Appreciate the work. Just curious.

ahh, i thought someone said they had upgrade. I run docker so running 8.0 matter server since it was in beta. If you have a change you want to make I can test it locally if you send me the files or changes to make.
looks like it isn’t in 2025.7.0 either. I wonder if there is place to ask when it will be taken up. Its been 3 months since 8.0.0 was released and 8.1.0 is in beta.
Ya, it’s really annoying. I submitted a PR yesterday. Hopefully someone will accept it.
someone moved the PR status back to draft because of the PR template being removed. Just FYI, I can never tell with Git if something is in a forever wait state or not.

Looks like the PR was merged four days ago and after I ran an update on my HA instance today my Matter server is reporting that it’s on 8.0.0 so it looks like it’s even been pushed out to installs. Thanks for driving that update!
