@rohan … Do you know if this will be coming to Hubitat? I’d love to see this functionality.
Hi @Rohan, thanks for all your work on the z2m converter. I’ve been playing with areas, but none of the specified areas flip the respective occupancy flag. All the reported states of Area1Occupancy ,Area2Occupancy, Area13Occupancy, Area4Occupancy stay “unknown” regardless of how many times I reset the mmwave sensor, reset the areas, redefine the areas, or reboot the switch.
Any advice?
In Z2M, do the occupancy sensors for the 4 areas show “Null"? That was the problem I had. Went through a bunch of trial and error to get those to start reading, but what worked for me was clicking on the reconfigure button on the main page of the device, and then using the reset mmWave module command on the “Exposes" tab just above the area configuration.
I had the same problem. What fixed it for me was to reflash the firmware.
Usually running a reconfigure will fix it since it will setup any of the missing bindings.
I don’t know when it would be coming. It requires someone to update the Hubitat driver to handle the advanced presence commands. I believe it’s an open source driver so anyone with familiarity can contribute to it using the documentation and the Z2M converter as an example.
