The LED bar is very customisable. It can be turned off at all times (except when displaying light level changes), at which point it will just be a slim grey bar, and the actual colour can be configured. Set it to white, and it’s more purely functional and hopefully easier to fit more traditional decor.
Regarding the squared/rounded design of the frames, that’s why Inovelli has gone with System55, so you should be able to find a matching set of frames… in Europe at least. UK, we’ll have to import or 3D print anything non-standard. The actual switch plates and frame are detachable because of being System55.
I personally like the design, and it was settled on a long time ago now, but I feel this is about as flexible as Innovelli could be, while keeping their visual identity with the LED bar common to the US switches.
