I read this as it’s just for their testing unit (as they are testing in the states where 110 is normal)
Because the majority, if not all of the places in the world where this form factor is useful are 240v 50hz, which is the global standard for electrical grids, it’s only a handful of countries that use < 200v and other than 50hz power.
Implementing a power supply which supports both in a small product would add cost and space requirements to every product they ever make without any benefit outside of development testing, and with the risk of more electronics to fail in future.
Hey @Eric_Inovelli ! This is super interesting, and I’m really happy you are pushing to make this available for 220V and 50Hz markets. I’m wondering if you are planning to port all switches, including fans, etc or just light switches?
Greetings from Argentina.
Hey from down under, @Eric_Inovelli! This community driven development approach literally gives me faith in humanity. Wondering whether these will be compatible with Aus? We’re ~230V 50Hz. Apologies if this has been answered already elsewhere. Keep up the great work!
