So I have an automation set up in HA that check the condition every minute and update the Red series notification color accordingly.
So most of the time the parameter value will be set to the same so effectively no change in color. But what i’m not sure about is when the parameter is being update with the same value as what it was registered before, will the actual writing to the memory happen at all? and wear out the memory cell?
Also, for the parameter 16, the size is 4. I’m wondering if there is a way to just update the parameter for just the effect while keeping the other value unchanged without the need to know what the parameter was set to before?
