Red Series multi-tap support

Greetings all, recently purchased a home that has a few Red Series dimmers. In my previous home, I had about 15 Blue Series switches and configured all switches to go 100% on the double tap. I don’t see this option in Home Assistant now. Curious if this is not a feature of the Reds? Also finding all Red Series configured in HA have most entities hidden. This behavior is also new. Not sure if that is new feature in HA or something to do with Zwave. Any help appreciated.

I assume I can create automations to duplicate this double tap behavior but wanting to make sure I have not missed something.

Did you install the Inovelli blueprint(s) for the Z-Wave switch(es) that you have???

I’ve not installed any blueprints yet. Blueprints were not needed for the Blue Series switches to accomplish this. Was just wondering if I need to do something more to expose that feature or if that feature does not exist on the Reds.

Was just a checkbox for configuring the Blue devices.

Red series, presuming you are referring to the Gen 3 2-1 Dimmer. 2x up to Max is P53. 2x down to Min is P54.

The default for both is 0, which is disabled. Set both parameters to 1 to enable.

Appears I am actually working with LZW31-SN which don’t appear to have those same options. Thanks for the help.

Yep, that feature was introduced with the Gen 3. Easy enough to do with an automation though.

The LZW series blueprints and an automation are probably the only option with the older switches…

The automations are a fair bit slower than my experience with the Blues and a double tap… will just have to shuffle around some of these older switches where it matters and replace with the new batch of Reds I have coming…
