I have about 35. VZW31-SN red series. Connected to home assistant via aeotec z stick 7. They work great but sometimes after a few days a random light out of the 35 might show disconnected/dead from home assistant. I can’t ping it either from zwave js ui.
If I go to the switch and just press the up button (or down button if it is on), it then instantly seems to reconnect to home assistant/zwave js.
Then everything might work again for another couple days and then another random light might do the same thing. Any ideas?
If I check the ping to the lights they are all pretty good. Normally all below 40ms. Occasionally some do seem to get interference and spike up to 500ms.
Just noting that I have this same issue. It resurfaces every few days.
Same here. Have about a dozen VZW31s and occasionally I’ll see warnings in my HA logs.

Same here. I am using Z-Wave JS UI, version: 3.7.2
Using Zooz 800 Series Long Range USB Controller
I did not do much of research, but I had MQTT enabled and I saw some errors in the Log related to MQQT. I disable it now. Same effect
Anyone ever find a solution to this?
I’m using Home Assistant Z-wave JS UI and have 90+ nodes, roughly half Inovelli. Only 6 of them are VZW31-SNs, which I added to my network within the last year. It’s literally these 6 that fall of the network sporadically. It feels like daily one of them reports dead and requires a manual on/off to connect it back. Not all of them at once, but usualy 1 or 2 of them.
I’ve been messing with forced routes, e.g. having them go directly through the nearest dedicated repeater, but that doesn’t appear to be fixing anything…especially now that I see others have reported the same issue.
Anyone?
