Red Switch Oddity / House Possessed?

I just noticed the stairway light is on and definitely do not recall turning it on. Been waiting the last couple hours for a fedex package that i needed to sign.

Luckily I still have a camera pointing at the general location while i was last troubleshooting the flickering issue. Sure enough @ 2:09 pm PST, the light came on and I’m not seeing anything in the IDE log.

Anyone observing anything peculiar with their red switch(es)?

Didn’t read all of it, but my vote is possessed. ST doing some weird things. Did you lose power by chance?

No issues with any of mine on Hubitat. I’m not quite understanding your logs though they are from 9:14am yet the time your talking about was 2:09pm right?

@harjms, no power loss.

@Terk, you’re right, i must have copy and pasted the wrong time. But yes, the Yi camera shows the light came on at 2:09 PM PST.

Guess i’ll chalk it up to user error for now, at least since i cannot duplicate it, but i’m pretty sure the light came on by itself. I checked with the family and no one turned it on and they don’t even have the app installed on their phone either.

ok… so instead of relying on the live log in IDE, which is buggy for me. Here’s what i see in the Event List for the switch

Is there anything in here I shouldn’t post in public (like hubid?)?

I have had a similar issue with one of my new Red Series On/Off Switches. The one for my porch light turns off and on on it’s own in the middle of the night. I can see it cycling on the Wyze Cam (it trips the motion detection), but I see nothing in the recent activity telling it to turn off or on. Last night it turned off at 1:34am and then right back on. Again, nothing in the “Recently” tab at that time. It has done this randomly since I first installed it.

I tried calling for “Carol Ann”, but no response.

The other two Red On/Off Switches seem to act normally; the Foyer light installed directly next to the Front Porch light, but is rarely on and the Dining Room Light, which is on all evening.

Glad i’m not the only one. I have a routine to turn off all the lights at midnight so it isn’t too big of a deal, but somewhat perplexed why it would turn on its own.
