Replacing a Meross with two Inovelli switches?

When I set up our home, one of the things my wife asked for (and I agreed with her) is physical switches for the ceiling fans - the remotes that came with the fans already installed in the house were a pain. I did my legwork, got some AC fans, and found a Meross switch that handled both Lights and Fan control:

They work… but the buttons are confusing to operate manually. I’m looking to replace them with something that has two separate controls, one for the Light and one for the Fan. (The Meross has a button for the fan, a button for the light, and a paddle that makes it awkward.)

Can I swap this out for a pair of Inovelli White Series switches? One Dimmer, one Fan? (My main question is, can I use the existing wiring from the Meross, or is this going to get more complicated?)

Provided you have space for 2 switches, there shouldn’t be any issues installing 2 dedicated switches. You’re already going to have separate switch legs for your lights and fan, and likely there is a neutral in the box for you as well, as the previous switch was WiFi and probably needed it.
