I am looking for some suggestions regarding routines and automations. I know that if you use different platforms, they can conflict with each other. However, I have Phillips hue lights in Ovalle blue dimmer switches and an AO tech hub V4 and SmartThings. Each has their ability for routines and automations. I’m looking for recommendations on when to use one versus the other or if I should truly stick to just one. I ask because in SmartThings I can configure my hue lights however the Hugh automations have more options for colors and such but if I turn the hue lights off with an automation, it seems to make the switches unable to turn them on, so just curious if I need to keep it all in one system and a recommendation on which would be best.
I have Lutron, Hue, Goove, Zigbee, Z-Wave and other devices. I control them all with my Hubitat Hubs and find that this works extremely well. The Hubitat community has multiple people that were previously using SmartThings and other platforms.
