So I have my setup right now working great with the new SBM, but I thought of an improvement for my z-wave switches controlling my zigbee cans. Right now I have an automation set up that if the level of the dimmer changes, it changes the level of the cans to match. it works great, no complaints.
I think I can improve this based on a “held” event triggering the start of dimming, and a “released” event stopping the dimming.
What are you all doing OUTSIDE OF ASSOCIATIONS (since z-wave switch, zigbee cans) to replicate dimming between devices, or am I on the optimal path already?
