It would be cool if you could create a thread-in bypass for the non-neutral light switches. This would go in-between the bulb and the socket. Then one could easily test by pulling the bulb, inserting this in to the light socket, then screwing the bulb back in. It would certainly extend the height of the overall light packaging by ~2" but it would be great for a quick sanity check before pulling the light mount apart.
