Very happy with White Switches

I just wanted to leave a post how pleased I am with my Inovelli White Switches. I replaced an aging Insteon setup of over 40 switches with Inovelli White and Aux switches. My home has 2-way through 4-way setups with neutral wires. The switches have been 100% reliable in Apple HomeKit. They are so much faster than my Insteon setup ever was. I use at least a dozen thread motion sensors and the response time is at most 1 second. With Insteon I could latterly count to 4 before their motion sensors and switches would get their job done. Such a vast improvement and done on a newly released product. I am thoroughly impressed and look forward to the upcoming fan switches of which I need/have ordered 3.

I do have 6 Lutron Claro switches which are also flawless, but I would prefer to go as fully thread as possible. Lutron has small remote switches that do not need an electrical box. Some of my staircases do not have a switch on the top of the stairway (unreal). I hope that some day Inovelli will be able to,provide something similar but via thread.

Once again very nice job and I look forward to future products. I really, like and am happy to support your company.

Hello Rich , Im glad you’re happy with the white series. Im having issues with the double tapping scenes. I’m using Home kit, Any tip?

What motion sensors are you using? That will probably be my next Matter/Thread enhancement. Have thread shades and all White switches except bathroom fan lights.

I’ve been using the Aqara P2, I’ve had 2 fail though, just stop working, even with new batteries. Been using the Eve Thread Motion Sensor instead now. It’s larger and more $$, but works better over a longer range and has more settings you can access from the Eve App.

What kind of issues are you having? I use the double taps and holds in apple home quite a lot, I can try to help in any way I can.

Hello CroVlado, I don’t What’s happening because already configure 1 of the switch with double tappping and long press. Now that I was configuring another switch is not executing the actions.
And Yesterday I installed 2 more switches and I can’t add them to home kit.
I already reset them but no Luck
Now sure if Im doing something wrong or is an Update issue. My IOS is updated 18.1.1

Any Idea?

Thanks

Are you sure the buttons are mapped the way you think it is? Button 1 is not always up, button 2 is not always down, and button 3 is not always config. You have to verify which one it is in apple home.

Have you paired those switches previously? Your information is vague.

Thanks CroVlado, I checked the mapping of the buttoms. Its solved.

About the other 2 Switches that I can’t connect It says that it can’t find the accessory and that I have reset the switch. I already reset the switch but nothing.

I have this switches configured for on/off

When it resets does it flash 3 colors or just red or purple only? I think goes like red yellow cyan and then back to dark blue? I’d have to look at the docs again.

Also go to settings > general > matter accessories and wait there for a minute. How many switches do you have active vs how many show there. If there are any extra delete them.

If none of that works you may get with support or just do an RMA request. It’s hard for me to troubleshoot unless I’m seeing exactly all of it at every step
