It seems there is a small number of switches that a capacitor in the AC-DC circuit fails and begins to vibrate (which causes the noise). The only solution is to swap it out with a new one, but we have not identified anything in common with the switches that are affected by this.
@Mop_Zero setting the LED intensity to 0% for on and off would disable the LED I believe.
