I’ve been getting the following warnings in Hubitat for my VZM35-SN (Blue Series Fan Switch) with driver version 2026-01-21:
Claude recommended I make the following changes, replacing lines 859-861 with 862-868 which eliminated the warnings, with the following explanations:
This is harmless noise. The driver is logging a message on the Basic cluster (0x0000) that has no attribute ID, so it prints Unknown Attribute:null.
What triggers it: parse() assumes every Basic cluster message is an attribute report, but some aren’t. The most likely candidate is a Zigbee Default Response (command 0B) or a similar status message, probably a reply to one of the Basic cluster reads in readDeviceAttributes() (model, date code, FW build ID). attrInt comes back null and falls through to the default: branch.
@EricM_Inovelli, should this be updated in the main driver?
