VZM36 keeps disconecting

Hello, I have the VZM36 fan canopy module wired to a VZM31-SN switch. The switch is in smart bulb mode. I am using zha. My canopy module keeps diconecting and becoming unavailable. If I reset it by holding the button on the module for 20 seconds it will reconnect and work like it should. Then in and hour or two it will diconect again. I have two vzm31-sn and they do not diconect like the fan module does. Has anybody else had this problem and figuire out a solution to fix it?

I don’t know if this will resolve your issue, but you should probably correct it nonetheless.

Since you have the switch in the SBM, it suggests that you have the canopy module wired to the Load on the switch. This is not correct. If you are powering the canopy from the switch box, the Line going to the canopy should NOT be on the Load terminal. Either pigtail to the Line going to the switch or use the 2nd back-wire Line hole.

You don’t want the feed to the canopy going through the dimmer circuitry, even in the SBM.

Ok, I corrected the wiring and have the canopy module reconnected. Hopefully it stays connected now.

Unfortunately that did not fix the disconnecting issue. The LQI was between 190 and 200 so I know the connection strength is good. Does anyone have any ideas? No other device in my network is disconnecting.
