I switched to zwave js on hubitat and the vzw31-sn switches don’t update their on/off status…remain OFF. I’ve excluded, reset, included the switch but still same issue. I changed the driver to lzw31-sn (old red series) and the status works correctly, however that driver doesn’t support all functionality of the new switch. Any suggestions before I revert back to legacy zwave?
@EricM_Inovelli any thoughts about this person’s issue?
Did you configure/initialize after moving to zwave js? I have seen devices on Hubitat not update status when things are not exactly how they were when the device was added, and a configure tends to fix it.
I removed and added the device back to the hub after doing a factory reset for a couple of devices…that didn’t work. Switching the driver to LZW31-SN worked, but that wouldn’t be a good long term solution.
Can you enable all the logging for the device and record it while you toggle the switch on / off? In the device preferences, there is a section at the bottom to make sure all the logs are enabled.
Hi Eric. I reverted back to legacy zwave. I will send logs once I change back to js.
