what are the parameters for white dimmer? they do not appear to be in documentation. i’m using smartthings hub, but i’m willing to move to home assistant if the parameter support is better. i’m trying to set minimum dim level and other parameters. this parameter and others are not shown in the app. the advanced smartthings page shows parameters 20 thru 31, but they are not named. the app appears to have the same parameters named based on their values e.g. aux detection is set to 125 in the app, and parameter 30 has the same value of 125.
I do not have any whites, so I am not sure what you should be seeing in the device settings. But generally when settings seem to be missing, it suggests that you are not using the proper driver.
I’m not able to check right now, but I resume there is a driver channel for the whites. Open the device page for the switch, click on the three dot menu and select driver. What driver are you using?
i am using the driver. support confirmed not all parameters are supported and no timeline to fix/improve. they also said home assistant has more, but didn’t confirm what that looks like yet.

Load Control On Transition Time and Off Transition Time are separately configurable. For the RGB indicator, you just get an On/Off Transition Time configuration.
I had never attempted to change Power-on Level or On-level for the load control or LED indicator in Home Assistant, the 255 value is apparently the default. I did find a help article for this switch with the Local Configuration Table included, but those particular configuration options in Home Assistant don’t seem to directly correlate to any of the parameter values in the help article: White Series Dimmer Switch • Button Combinations, Quick Tap Sequences & Local Configuration Options | Inovelli Help Center
I went ahead and used the instructions in that article to set minimum dim level to 20%. It seemed to save the configuration change, but I am using the switch in smart bulb mode, so I have no way to really tell for sure. It seems like the switch has this function, but setting it manually at the switch if you had dozens of them would definitely be a pain.
I did not see any corresponding configuration changes in home assistant after changing the parameter on the switch though. So it looks like that setting is not exposed over Matter as of right now. Unsure if that is a Matter limitation, or if it just hasn’t been implemented in the switch firmware.
thanks. i think “manually it works, but is a pain” is exactly where i’m at unfortunately with the minimum dim level. well i guess all i can do is hope this is changed in the future firmwares.
