Hi all, done a lot of research and like many am debating between the Blue vs White series. I think I understand many of the pros/cons. That said, I understand the White switches do not support animated notifications, which I guess has something to do with only exposing a single LED/color endpoint. Is it possible in the future that via Home Assistant this will be more customizable? Or is this a permanent difference in the feature set of the two kinds?
I think, at least, one can do “flashing” between two colors via HA automations. But some of the more fun ones like rising/falling and pulse may be hard to replicate without being able to control each of the LEDs, and even then it would be so many commands as to maybe not work reliably.
For context, I have a Home Assistant setup and already have Zigbee and Hue (but my Hue setup isn’t something that would really benefit from binding)
