Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my AUX switch not properly registering button presses in sync with the main switch. I’m using HomeKit exclusively, with a non-neutral setup, Smart Bulb Mode enabled, and a bypass installed.
I’ve configured button mappings in HomeKit, and they work exactly as expected on the main switch.
However, the AUX switch isn’t mirroring those actions correctly — the button behavior is inconsistent. For example:
• On the main switch, a single press of Button 3 turns on Light A, and a single press of Button 2 turns off Light A. All other programmed button functions behave as expected.
• On the AUX switch, a single press of Button 3 correctly turns on Light A, but pressing Button 2 does not turn it off. Instead, it seems to register as another Button 3 press.
• Additionally, pressing Button 1 on the AUX switch turns off Light A, even though it’s configured to control Light B — and it does not affect Light B at all.
Button 1 also doesn’t seem to register reliably on the AUX switch. Button 2 doesn’t seem to register at all on the AUX switch.
I’ve already tried rebooting my Home Hub and ISP router, and I’ve performed a factory reset on the switch three times, and repaired in HK but the issue persists.
Any ideas on what might be causing this behavior? Could the AUX switch be defective?
Cheers
