Is there a known issue with Instant-On mode and white series fan switches?
My switch is configured as follows:
- Instant-On (Disable Button Delay) Mode: Enabled
- Ceiling Fan Mode - Step Mode
- Switch Delay Time: Set to 0
When the fan is off, I would expect that 3 rapid presses up on the paddle will turn the fan to low, then medium, then high. Instead you have to wait a small amount of time between presses for the second and third press to register. Since I don’t use multi-presses I have instant-on mode turned on. Shouldn’t this allow for multiple presses without having to wait for a delay? I have 4 white series fan switches and they all behave the same way so I don’t think it’s an issue with the switch itself.
