Just picked up a few of these and I remember there being talk about temp not working and humidity being inaccurate but they came with 1.0.3 installed and both temp and humidity are showing and are very similar to the Aqara sensors spread in the rooms.
What changed? This just a fluke?

Both generate a number however the readings (temperature particularly) are effected by the heat from the unit itself.
I believe Inovelli removed temperature measurement from the feature list prior to launch (though the feature was left in the code). Humidity is still an āadvertised featureā however and seems to work pretty well (though I donāt use it for anything).

Is there a way to tweak Local Timer mode to not allow an always-on state? It is hard to train my kids to push it more than once, and despite knowing it could be automated, it feels like a feature that might be hidden or desirable. Like rewriting a list of timer seconds or something.
Local Timer mode keeps resetting to disabled after a power outage/airgap. This appears to be a bug.

This is probably a long shot, but itād be pretty nice if there were a way to expose whether a button press came from the primary switch or an aux switch. Iām adding automations to control groups of lights with double/triple taps of the switch, and one of the things that I want is to be able to use the stair lights to control lighting on the opposite stairs (i.e. double tap off at the bottom of the stairs to turn off the upstairs lights), but AFAIK thereās currently no way to distinguish a double tap at the main switch from a double tap at the auxiliary switch.

Pure guess, but I would suspect not. However, a workaround thoughtā¦ I believe these switches would work using another āfull smartā switch as the secondary? At least the product page sounds so. In which case, would that help you do the configuration you want?
Might depend if youāre controlling smart or dumb switches, and what hub (Home Assistant?) youāve got going. Kind of a cool idea for the application.
For my setup, Iāve got a few switches that are controlling lights in other rooms, not connected to the loads the physical switch is carrying. But Iām 100% smart bulb mode on them all, so basically itās all just logical not electrical switching at that point.
