White Series Smart Dimmer (aka 2-in-1) and Fan Canopy Module

I was one of the early pre-orders of the White module 2-in-1 and fan canopy bundles. I’ve finally gotten both parts of one kit installed and paired to Apple HomeKit. Since there is no direct wiring between the switch and the canopy module, I now need to program the switch to control the light and fan on the canopy – ideally with 0-100% dimming on the lights, and off/low/medium/ghih up/down fan control. I will admit that I’m stuck at getting this to work in HomeKit actions/automation with the Home app.

Has anyone done this successfully in HomeKit (via Home app or third-party such as Controller)? How about in Home Assistant?

I’m on firmware 1.0.0 for VTM 36 (canopy) and 1.0.5 for VTM31-SN (switch).

Unfortunately until Matter Binding is supported in hubs you will have to pick predetermined levels, multi tap, or other method. There really is no way to smoothly transition from 1 to 100%. I do not use Apple for any automations. All of mine are Hubitat and some in HA.
