White series solution?? for a Panosonic Whisper DC exhaust fan motor with a single pole non-neutral switch

Hello all!
I am looking to add a matter smart switch for my Panosonic Whisper 150cfm DC motor bathroom exhaust fan connected to a dumb non-neutral single pole switch.. I have every white series switch currently, as well as the fan canopy, and bypass capacitors. Is there any configuration that will allow me to make this work? I don’t need variable speed options, high is fine for all needs. The unit is just the fan version, no light, speakers, or anything else is part of the device.

Thanks in advance for any support that you can provide.

I think due to your non-neutral configuration, you’re going to have to mate an Inovelli switch with a smart on/off all relay at the fan.

You would change the connections in the fan box to send a hot and neutral over the 2-wire between the fan box and the switch box. This will allow you to properly power the Inovelli with a hot and a neutral. This will allow it to act as a scene controller so that you can control the smart relay at the fan box by automations or possibly binding.

Ahh, makes perfect sense. I have the Shelly 1 gen 4 that should allow me to accomplish this.

Thank you!
