For a bathroom exhaust fan would the “smart dimmer switch” in on/off mode work OK or I need one of the other switches, if not which one?

No, a true on/off switch is required. One will be coming out soon. The Blue version is currently available in pre-order.

Thanks for the correction! I was sure I saw on the web site that it was not yet available… but just checked again, and yup!
The on/off switch with the humidity sensor might be the one you’re thinking of- which now I’m wondering if that one will only work with lighting fixtures and not exhaust fans?
