Hi, I just installed a white switch on an outdoor light that has a Hue bulb in it. I’m only trying to get on/off working but can’t seem to get it.
- HomeKit with Apple TV 4K, lots of Eve matter thread outlets around
- switch is on on/off with smart bulb setting enabled
- Wired correctly, checked for line and load, getting power to switch and light is powered, with neutral
- Set up tap automation based on Inovelli instructions, top button turns light on, bottom button turns light off. Tested automation on HomeKit side and it turns the light on off
Problem:
- tapping the top button on the switch does not turn on the light
- If the light is already on, tapping the bottom button turns the light off but only for a second, and the light turns back on. Basically it turns it off for just a second.
This is my first inovelli switch. I mostly just want on/off smart mode so I can use my hue bulbs but my home is accessible to everyone, like my elderly parents.
Does anyone have any idea what’s going on?
