Wiring guidance for unexpected bundle

I am setting up to install a White dimmer (VTM31-SN) in a 3-way configuration, though my question has nothing to do with the switch itself.

The existing circuit contains a dumb dimmer, and a dumb switch. When inspecting the existing wiring, the wall box containing the dimmer matched what I would expect to see (one wire bundle containing white + black + ground, the other containing white + red + black + ground). However, the second wall box, containing the switch, had 3 wire bundles. 1 traveler bundle (w + r + b + g), and 2x white + black + ground (one of which contains the hot wire).

Iā€™m looking for guidance on whether I can follow either of the wiring guides (line/load same box, or line/load separate boxes), and if so which one. If no, am I out of luck on this circuit?

for additional context (if it helps), the 2x w+b+g bundles were effectively tied together on the pre-existing circuit (the black wires from both shared a common terminal on the switch)

Can you post pictures of both boxes with the wires pulled out?

This is the wiring for the circuit before I disconnected. Please let me know if the drawing is unclear

According to your drawing, that is a typical line and load in separate boxes with neutral.

If you mate the Inovelli with a dumb switch, the Inovelli goes in the Switch box, and the dumb switch goes in the Dimmer box.

If you mate the Inovelli with an Aux, then you can put the Inovelli in either box.
