I recently purchased a few more Blue 2-in-1s, and I’m running into this issue on one of them as well. I’ve tried all three options to put the device in pairing mode, but nothing seems to work.
- Holding down Config + Up for 20 seconds until the light bar flashes red three times
- Pressing Config three times quickly (I’ve tried various speeds to be safe)
- Pulling the air gap out and pressing it back in
I’ve also tried various combinations, such as the button presses while the air gap is pulled. Nothing works. Every time I try one of the options, the light bar goes back to the on or off state and pairing mode never starts (flashing blue light bar).
Any tips for what to try next?
FWIW, I got it to enter pairing mode once right after I installed the switch. And I was even able to pair it with Home Assistant. But it kept dropping the connection in ZHA so I tried removing it from HA and re-pairing. Ever since then, it won’t go into pairing mode again.
