Blue Series Canopy Pairing Question (No physical access) - Resolved

Hi there, I’m new to Inovelli and just installed a Blue Series (Zigbee) Smart Fan/Light Canopy Module × 1

After completing the install, I configured ZHA for the first time and I assume both devices (switch and canopy) timed-out the default pairing mode. No problem for the switch, I pressed the small button 3 times rapidly, paired, and I now have full control of the switch.

The fan/light however shows no signs of power - would an unpaired canopy default to that state or have I made a mistake in wiring? I have the smart canopy module hidden away in the top-most Hunter canopy and am looking to debug more fully without disassembling everything. I tried to prompt a factory reset by toggling the specific breaker on/off 7x and by the time I return to the fan or check to pair a new ZHA device, I don’t see any changes or new device for the module

(related: are people drilling holes to expose the antenna? do some choose the leave the module outside the canopy? Maybe I’m missing something obvious but I would rather not have all this wiring be exposed, live, and need to press a physical button on the device to pair)

The fan is a Hunter 42482-01

Thanks in advance for any help!

Edit: This has been resolved! My red line out from the switch to the light fixture had popped out of the smart switch backside.
