Blue Series Smart Presence Sensing Dimmer missing configuration parameters

Just got my Blue Series mmWave dimmer switch and got it easily integrated into Home Assistant; however, I see that there are only a handful of configuration parameters available via Home Assistant:

  • Default move level
  • Firmware
  • On level
  • On/off transition time
  • Start-up behavior
  • Start-up current level

There are many missing that are present on the regular dimmer switch, the AC fan switch, and the on/off switch - e.g., Smart bulb mode, Dimming mode, Local/Remote dimming up/down speed, and many more.

Why aren’t these configuration options available via Home Assistant?

Yes, sorry, ZHA. The 3 models I mentioned all expose these extra configurations, currently.

Just added the custom quirks and things look better. Is there a plan to get these quirks added to main ZHA?

With the volume of changes in ZHA, it’s not surprising that it takes a while to go through the review process.
