Config and Mutli clicks stopped reading in Home Assistant

Hey All - I need some help. I’ve looked at similar posts but haven’t seen anything globally impact all of my Innoveli switches at once.

All five of my blue 2-1 switches have stopped logging config clicks and multi-clicks. When I press each switch’s on or off buttons, they work and log as expected. All five suddenly stopped working at the same time. I’m unsure what could cause them all to react this way simultaneously.

Each switch has automation tied to scenes that previously worked fine in that room.

I’m running HA Core vz 2025.1.0. I have each device connected via Zibee2MQTT Bridge. It looks like each of my other ZigBee devices are working as expected.

Any recommendations?

Any chance you changed the button press delays? If it’s set too low the switch won’t recognize the multi-taps.

The latest Z2M update removes the action entities unless you enable them via legacy mode. I know there’s a blueprint on here for the blue series that relies on that.

The preferred way to automate based on these multi clicks is to use device events instead.

EDIT: I just made a post with links to the release notes, how to enable the legacy actions entity, and a blueprint that uses the preferred device actions.

this, what this person said —>>>

and if you have your 5 blue switches communicating with Z2M and updated to Z2M 2.x last night, there is your exact issue. thanks

That solved it! I was able to add the legacy actions to my config file. Thanks for the help!
