Inovelli 2026 β Q2 Update
Hey everyone,
As mentioned in our 2026 roadmap post, we will continue sharing quarterly updates to give a high level view of what we have been working on, where things stand, and what is coming next.
This post is meant to complement the individual project threads by highlighting key progress across products, firmware, platform work, and broader company updates.
Expanding Our Space
In late May, Inovelli moved into a brand new location to further support our growth.
As we continue expanding our product lineup, B2B efforts, support operations, and internal systems, having a larger and more dedicated space will help us operate more efficiently and prepare for what is ahead.
It is an exciting step for the team, and while it may not directly change anything overnight for customers, it gives us more room to continue growing the right way.
Product & Project Updates
Red Series On/Off Switch (Z-Wave On/Off Switch | Project Pulsar)
The Red Series On/Off Switch is officially complete and was released on May 22nd.
This was one of the major projects we highlighted in Q1, so we are excited to have it across the finish line and available to customers.
Project Pulsar fills an important spot in the Red Series lineup and gives Z-Wave users a dedicated On/Off switch option alongside the existing Red Series Dimmer and mmWave Dimmer.
Button Controller (Blue Series / Red Series)
The Button Controller remains one of the products we know many of you are waiting for, and we want to be transparent about where things stand.
The engineer assigned to the Button Controller has been focused on our B2B project as the current priority. That project is expected to wrap up soon, and once it does, he will be freed up to resume and complete the Button Controller work.
We understand that some users are frustrated by the delay, and we completely understand. This product has taken longer than expected, but we are taking our time because we want to deliver a near-perfect product and experience.
As always, if you no longer want to wait, we are still offering refunds and order cancellations for anyone who has a pending Button Controller order.
We will share more specific updates once active development resumes.
European Switch (Project Europa β’ Zigbee + Thread/Matter Smart Dimmer β’ Blue & White Series)
Project Europa is currently on hold.
This is not because the project has been canceled, but because other higher-priority projects behind the scenes are taking up our engineering bandwidth. We know there is a lot of interest in the EU switch, and we still believe this is an important product for our lineup.
However, we want to be upfront that there will not be further updates until the project resumes.
We will post an individual update in the project thread as well so anyone following that project has the latest information.
Zigbee Wall Outlet (Zigbee Wall Outlet β’ Project Jambry)
Project Jambry is also currently on hold.
As with Project Europa, this is due to other active projects taking priority right now. This project is still something we are interested in continuing, but we want to avoid giving updates just for the sake of updating when there has not been meaningful progress.
We will post an individual update in the project thread, but as of now, there will not be further updates until the project resumes.
New B2B Product Line
We are continuing to work on a custom switch line for a major B2B customer, which is one of the larger homebuilders in the United States.
We cannot share many details yet, but this project is a major focus for us right now. Once the project is complete, we do plan to bring these switches to our public lineup as well.
For now, the hint we can share is: Project Alloy.
As we are able to share more, we will keep you updated.
B2B & Partnership Work
One of the biggest focuses for us in Q2 has been continuing to build out our B2B efforts.
We now have a B2B portal available on our site. Right now, it is a simple informational page and contact form, but this will continue to expand over time as we build out that side of the business.
We are also in talks with a major hub partner to provide a hub option for our B2B sales efforts.
This is mostly focused on B2B right now, but there is potential for it to expand into other possibilities in the future. Our goal is to make it easier for builders, integrators, and partners to offer a more complete smart home solution.
Platform & Ecosystem Work
We continue to make progress expanding and improving our ecosystem support.
Our focus remains on delivering a more consistent experience across platforms, improving OTA update support, and making advanced features more accessible regardless of the ecosystem you use.
This work is especially important as we continue expanding into B2B, where the experience needs to be simple, reliable, and easy to support at scale.
Firmware Updates

Internal Improvements
We have continued working on internal systems and processes that help support the business as we grow.
Some of this work is not directly visible to customers, but it is important for improving how we manage product data, support, communication, and future projects.
The move into our new location is part of this same larger effort. As our product lineup and customer base grow, we want to make sure the internal side of the business grows with it.
Looking Ahead to Q3
Our focus heading into Q3 includes:
-
Continuing work on the B2B product line
-
Resuming active development on the Button Controller once the B2B project wraps up
-
Continuing to expand our B2B portal and partner efforts
-
Advancing conversations with a major hub partner
-
Continuing platform, firmware, and internal support improvements
We Want Your Input
As always, your feedback plays a big role in shaping what we do next.
We know some projects have taken longer than expected, and we appreciate everyoneβs patience as we balance community-requested products, firmware work, support, and larger behind-the-scenes opportunities.
If you have thoughts on what is working, what needs improvement, or what you would like to see from us this year, let us know.
Thanks again for being part of the Inovelli community.
