I recently purchased several Inovelli White Switches. On the whole, all is well.
However, my simplest switch configuration seems to be having an issue.
It’s a single-pole switch by itself which controls a ceiling light. There’s two wires in the junction box, line/load wires easily identifiable via voltage detector–very straightforward (you would think).
However, I have smart bulbs installed. I was able to configure the switch in smart mode, single pole, etc. no problem. The lights power on, all is well. That is, until I get on the app for my lights and turn them off via the app. This somehow cuts power to the switch, as the LED on the switch flickers as the lights are turning off and then goes gray completely and the switch is unresponsive. Then when the lights are powered back on via the app, the switch turns on, the LED on the switch flashes green and all is well again.
I’ve tried switching the line/load wires into the switch, turning local protection on/off and can’t seem to come to any conclusion as to what could possibly be happening or how to solve it. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if I didn’t post this in the right place, I apologize.
Thank you!
